Remember all of those who have helped you find a job in the past? I do too. So I am doubly paying it forward from one Vanderbilt alumna to two others. Both of these amazing women had the courage and persistence to reach out to me individually after meeting me at alumni networking events. It is a true joy to have shown them the power of their alma mater in action and to serve as a model of giving back.
I am thrilled to announce that The Olympia Collective will be hosting two fellow Vanderbilt Commodores for their 2021 Spring Capstone paid internships: Elaine Yang and Kayla Vine. This is a great example of our core value of generosity in the form of offering job opportunities. Kayla and Elaine are both following my footsteps pursuing majors in Human & Organizational Development.
Elaine (Class of 2021) is already a familiar face on the Collective team having nailed Associate work with us last summer. She will be graduating in May with double minors in business and Chinese. Elaine has visited six continents, and loves to travel. This Spring she will be working with me on creating an earned revenue plan as part of a board strategic priority for our client Hollywood Schoolhouse.
Kayla (Class of 2022) will be working on implementing the principles from the book Traction by Gino Wickman into The Olympia Collective this Spring as well as with at least one client. In addition to being a full-time student, Kayla is also a certified yoga instructor.
Ladies, welcome to The Olympia Collective! May you one day also welcome fellow ‘Dores with open arms whenever they appear with warm smiles and eagerness to learn!
