We are proud to have received an SOS call from repeat nonprofit client End Well and its founder, Shoshana Ungerleider, MD, as she prepares for her annual symposium to convert to a virtual experience. I can’t imagine a client more aligned with The Olympia Collective’s core value of health. This TED-talk style three-hour event, called Take 10, will be held on Thursday, December 10th. Take 10 covers difficult and often avoided topics such as end of life, grief and loss, social isolation, mental health, and caregiving — topics that are more important now than ever, as COVID-19 has made caregiving and navigating advanced care for those we love even more difficult. The speaker lineup is super impressive, featuring Andy Cohen, Atul Gawande, Blair Underwood and Soledad O’Brien, just to name a few. For Shoshana and Take 10, The Olympia Collective is providing prospecting and revenue strategies to help cover the cost of the event, which is free for all attendees.
My team and I have all registered and we invite you to join us! I went in person last year in San Francisco with my mom, and it totally changed how we talk about end of life, both hers and mine. It has given me confidence that both of us understand each other’s wishes and what it means to live and end well. This is something I think of literally every day knowing that my mom is in the highest risk category to contract COVID.
